SIS MEDIA GROUP REINVENTS ITSELF
Broadens its Scope of Services
Bowling Green, KY — The internet keeps changing and so must businesses that want to keep up. So says Shawn Lindsey, owner of SIS Media Group, headquartered in Bowling Green. And this entrepreneur lives what he learns, announcing today an expansion of company services to embrace the ever-broadening capabilities of the internet.
"Just about every day you hear about new trends, new devices, new ways to access the internet, and we want our clients to have the full advantage of new technology," says Lindsey. "It's not just about building a website anymore. It's about building it in smart ways that get it noticed and are readable on everything from cell phones to wide-screen TVs."
This focus on staying ahead of the curve has helped SIS Media Group, a four-year-old company, grow steadily from its roots as a web design firm to an international provider of marketing, design, and technology services. Lindsey taps expertise wherever he can find it, resulting in a network of employees scattered around the country. "I want people who are really passionate about what they do so that our clients get the most out of our services. That's really our motto—that we don't succeed until our clients succeed. We can't do that without staying current."
Staying current most recently involved a complete website overhaul (www.sismediagroup.com), launched in 2009, that freshens the firm's look and expands its functionality. The site serves as a model of possibilities for clients, using all of the company's in-house expertise in marketing, social media, site development, and web design. In addition, SIS Media Group added business solutions to its core product lines of web development and marketing. The company hopes to attract businesses large and small that are looking to streamline their operations by consolidating vendors. With in-house printing capability and a steadily growing list of outsourcing solutions, SIS is becoming a "one-stop shop" for business solutions.
"Small businesses especially are usually pressed for time and looking for ways to reduce operating costs," Lindsey says, explaining the expansion. "Juggling vendors is time-consuming and there's a lot of room for error when one firm does the graphic design, another prints it, and someone else handles the paperwork. If someone wants, say, new business forms, we do everything from the design to the printing, and we'll even process payroll on the new forms if the client can't afford a bookkeeper. It's about building a relationship of trust and making our clients' lives easier."
Branding is becoming a big buzzword these days, with every company wanting to establish itself as the "go-to" place for a particular product or service. Once again, SIS is using its own expertise to broaden its appeal—and it lavishly applies all the lessons learned on its clients' behalf.
"We have experienced a 65% increase in our total revenue so far this year," says Lindsey, "with interest from markets we had not previously tapped. We experiment on ourselves first, so that we can take that knowledge to our clients and really help them grow."
Like the internet itself, SIS Media Group keeps reinventing itself. And that's a good thing.
